Robert Hetzer

Senior Financial Services Executive with 25+ years of experience in the distribution, sales and servicing of structured investment products.

Mr. Hetzer had various senior roles at Paine Webber. As a Managing  Director, he was an Executive assigned to establish and mange a mutual fund distribution company joint venture with Yasuda Life Insurance. He was directly responsible for all key aspects of the development of mutual fund distribution capabilities in Japan and to research additional international alliances for the parent company in the Asia Pacific region.


Mr. Hetzer was a Senior Vice President at Paine Webber responsible for management of thirty-five professionals from sales support, shareholder services and the regional sales teams that serviced mutual fund sales inquiries from clients, investment executives, wholesalers and outside service providers. 

Mr. Hetzer was also a Corporate Vice President at Paine Webber managing a professional staff of twelve assigned to the fund administration and portfolio management trading departments with responsibility for operation support, systems development and client relations supporting over two million shareholder accounts and over sixty billion dollars in mutual fund and institutional assets.

Mr. Hetzer was a Vice President at American Stock Transfer & Trust Company Fund Solutions managing corporate proxy relationships. He trained, developed and managed the company’s ongoing educational programs. Serviced all non-proxy related assignments. Generated and closed sales opportunities for the mutual fund proxy division.  

Mr. Hetzer was Chief Executive Officer of the Scudder Shareholder Services Company and Senior Vice President of board relations assigned to support the Chairman of three Scudder Fund Mutual Fund Boards with investment assets in excess of one hundred twenty billion dollars. Directly responsible for the Scudder Treasurer’s Office, the ongoing oversight of the outsourced Scudder Shareholder Services Division to DST and Scudder Fund Accounting Division to State Street Bank.


Mr. Hetzer was Vice President at FISERV responsible for four vice presidents, twelve department managers and ninety associates responsible for sales, client service and operations support of over fifty billion dollars of investment product assets. Appointed and served on the firm’s eight-member executive committee.
